In a seismic announcement that has electrified the heavy metal community, Ghost and W.A.S.P. have revealed plans for a massive co-headlining tour set to sweep across North America and Europe in 2026. Titled the “Rites of Revelation” Tour, the historic collaboration brings together two theatrical powerhouses in what promises to be an unforgettable fusion of shock, spectacle, and sonic intensity.
The tour, announced via a cinematic joint teaser on social media, features haunting visuals and a darkly compelling audio blend of Ghost’s “Call Me Little Sunshine” and W.A.S.P.’s anthemic “Wild Child.” The video closes with a cryptic message: “Two worlds. One altar. Prepare for revelation.”
Set to begin in Los Angeles in February 2026, the tour will cover over 40 cities, including stops in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Berlin, Paris, and London. The bands will also appear at several major festivals, with full dates and ticket information to be released in the coming weeks.
For fans, the tour represents a thrilling generational clash. Ghost, led by the enigmatic Papa Emeritus IV, has captivated global audiences with its blend of melodic doom, gothic visuals, and blasphemous grandeur. Meanwhile, W.A.S.P., fronted by the legendary Blackie Lawless, has been a force in heavy metal since the early ’80s, known for their rebellious spirit, controversial performances, and unforgettable stagecraft.
“Ghost has taken the theatrical flame we lit and brought it into a new era,” said Lawless in a statement. “This tour isn’t just about nostalgia — it’s about pushing boundaries. Together, we’re going to raise hell in ways neither of us could do alone.”
Papa Emeritus IV echoed the sentiment: “W.A.S.P. was one of the bands that showed the world that metal could be more than sound — it could be theater, emotion, danger. To share a stage with them is not only an honor, it’s a dark celebration of everything we stand for.”
The “Rites of Revelation” Tour will feature full sets from both bands, with promises of collaborative moments, elaborate stage designs, pyrotechnics, and new material. Ghost is rumored to be debuting songs from their upcoming album, while W.A.S.P. is expected to perform selections from their classic catalog and 2024’s critically acclaimed The Crimson Creed.
With pre-sale demand already surging, the “Rites of Revelation” Tour is shaping up to be a defining moment in modern metal — a communion of two theatrical giants, united in darkness, power, and performance.
