German Metal Titans Accept to Launch Halloween-Themed Amusement Park Before This Year’s Spooky Season

German heavy metal legends Accept have announced an unexpected and thrilling new venture — the launch of a Halloween-themed amusement park set to open ahead of the 2025 Halloween season. Titled “Dark Scream: The Accept Halloween Experience”, the park promises to be a high-octane fusion of horror, theatrical spectacle, and headbanging metal mayhem.

Set to open in late September 2025, the park will be located near Solingen, the band’s hometown in western Germany. Designed to capture the dark, rebellious energy that defines Accept’s music, Dark Scream aims to offer an immersive experience where fans can walk through twisted worlds inspired by the band’s albums, lyrics, and iconic stage shows.

“We’ve always embraced the dramatic, darker side of heavy metal,” said guitarist and founding member Wolf Hoffmann. “Dark Scream is about bringing that vision to life — it’s Halloween cranked up to eleven, with a heavy metal soul.”

The park will feature a range of adrenaline-pumping attractions, including “Restless and Wild: The Asylum,” a terrifying walk-through haunted house based on the band’s 1982 breakthrough album, complete with chilling visuals, live scare actors, and spine-rattling sound effects. Thrill-seekers can also brave the “Fast as a Shark Coaster,” a high-speed ride that pairs breakneck twists and turns with Accept’s legendary guitar riffs.

Other standout features include the “Metal Heart Maze”, a cyber-gothic labyrinth filled with mechanical horrors, and “Balls to the Wall Arena,” a central performance space where the band will deliver exclusive live shows throughout October. Each evening will also include horror-themed theatrical performances, fire shows, and a synchronised light-and-metal display set to the band’s most iconic tracks.

For families and younger visitors, Dark Scream will offer kid-friendly Halloween attractions such as spooky storytelling corners, costume contests, pumpkin carving, and themed food stalls serving eerie treats.

What sets Dark Scream apart is its unapologetically metal atmosphere. The park leans into Accept’s legacy with custom-built sets, practical effects, and an all-original horror soundtrack composed by the band. “We didn’t want this to be a typical haunted house,” Hoffmann explained. “It’s a full-on Accept experience — loud, theatrical, and unforgettable.”

Fans across Europe have reacted with overwhelming enthusiasm, with social media buzzing about the park’s blend of horror and heavy metal. Industry insiders see it as a bold, genre-defining step for a band still pushing boundaries after four decades.

Dark Scream opens in September 2025. Tickets go on sale in mid-July, with VIP packages offering backstage park access, meet-and-greets with the band, and priority entry to nightly shows.

This Halloween, Accept is giving fans a chance to step inside the world their music has always hinted at — and it promises to be louder, darker, and scarier than ever.
