Netflix Set to Release Documentary Series on Klaus Meine: “Still Loving You”

Netflix is set to pull back the curtain on one of rock’s most iconic voices. The streaming giant has announced a powerful new documentary series centered around Klaus Meine, the legendary frontman of the Scorpions, titled Still Loving You. Scheduled for release this fall, the series promises a deep, personal look at the man behind some of rock music’s most enduring anthems.

With a career spanning over five decades, Klaus Meine has left an indelible mark on the global rock scene. From his soaring vocals on classics like Wind of Change and Rock You Like a Hurricane to his remarkable resilience in the face of adversity — including a career-threatening vocal cord surgery in the 1980s — Meine’s story is as inspiring as it is compelling.

The series will chronicle his rise from humble beginnings in post-war Germany to fronting one of the most successful hard rock bands in history. Using a mix of rare archival footage, behind-the-scenes moments from life on the road, and intimate new interviews, Still Loving You paints a vivid picture of the trials, triumphs, and turning points that shaped his life and career.

“Klaus is more than just a rock legend,” said the series’ director, Laura Stein. “He’s a survivor, a poet, and a voice for peace and unity. This documentary is about much more than the music — it’s about the man, the message, and the global impact he’s had.”

Special appearances from bandmates Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs, as well as tributes from other rock legends like Metallica’s James Hetfield and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, add rich texture and context to Meine’s journey. The series also highlights the band’s historic 1991 concert in Moscow, a performance that became a symbol of changing times during the fall of the Soviet Union.

Still Loving You also explores Klaus’s unwavering passion for his fans, his quiet yet firm stance on political and social issues, and his continued creative drive, even into his seventies. The title itself — borrowed from one of the Scorpions’ most beloved ballads — captures the emotional essence of the series: love for the music, the fans, and the message of hope that Meine has carried throughout his career.

The documentary series will premiere globally on Netflix on October 18, 2025, and is expected to be a must-watch not only for Scorpions fans but for anyone who appreciates rock history told through an authentic and heartfelt lens.
