Symphonic metal powerhouse Epica and modern metal sensation Amaranthe have officially announced a major European co-headline tour for early 2026. Titled Arcane Dimensions, the tour promises an epic fusion of soaring symphonies, crushing riffs, and high-energy performances, spanning 26 cities across 13 countries.
The Arcane Dimensions tour is set to be one of the most anticipated metal events of the year, bringing together two of the genre’s most influential and dynamic acts. Both Epica and Amaranthe are known for their grand, theatrical soundscapes and powerful live shows, and this joint venture marks a thrilling chapter for fans of melodic and symphonic metal. 
Adding to the excitement, former Delain vocalist Charlotte Wessels will join the tour as a special guest, performing with her solo project The Obsession. Known for her ethereal voice and emotionally rich songwriting, Wessels brings a unique element to the tour, bridging the worlds of gothic, alternative, and progressive metal.
“We are beyond excited to finally join forces with our friends in Amaranthe,” said Epica vocalist Simone Simons in the official announcement. “This tour is a celebration of everything we love about metal: power, emotion, storytelling—and our incredible fans.”
Amaranthe, who have built a strong reputation with their genre-blending approach—mixing melodic death metal, pop, and electronic elements—echoed the sentiment. Vocalist Elize Ryd shared, “It’s a dream to share the stage with Epica, a band we’ve admired for years. Arcane Dimensions will be a one-of-a-kind experience, and we can’t wait to bring this energy to Europe together.”
The tour kicks off in early 2026, with exact dates and ticket details to be announced soon. Countries confirmed to be part of the tour include Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and the UK, among others.
Both bands are expected to perform full headlining sets, meaning fans will get to experience the full scope of Epica’s cinematic metal epics and Amaranthe’s high-octane anthems. Combined with the hauntingly beautiful performance of Charlotte Wessels’ The Obsession, Arcane Dimensions promises an unforgettable evening of music, intensity, and atmosphere.
The tour also marks a new era for all three artists—each of whom is reportedly working on new material that could debut live during the shows.
