Nikki Sixx, Mötley Crüe, and W.A.S.P. Announce Explosive Co-Headlining Tour

Hard rock fans, get ready: the thunder is rolling back into town. In a move that’s electrified the rock community, Nikki Sixx has officially announced that Mötley Crüe will team up with heavy metal legends W.A.S.P. for a monumental co-headlining tour set to ignite stages across the U.S. and Europe in late 2025.

This powerhouse tour marks a significant reunion of two titans of the Sunset Strip era, both of whom helped shape the glam metal explosion of the 1980s. For Mötley Crüe, fresh off a successful Las Vegas residency earlier this year, the road calls once again—and this time, they’re answering it with full force.

Old Friends, New Fire

While Mötley Crüe needs no introduction—with chart-toppers like “Kickstart My Heart,” “Home Sweet Home,” and “Girls, Girls, Girls”—their pairing with W.A.S.P. is both nostalgic and deeply symbolic. Nikki Sixx and W.A.S.P. frontman Blackie Lawless share early musical roots, having once played together in the band Sister. Decades later, their creative paths reunite, promising a show steeped in shared history and raw, unapologetic rock.

“Blackie and I have a bond that goes back to the wild days of the Strip,” Sixx said in a statement. “This tour is about bringing that fire back. Loud, fast, dangerous—just like it used to be.”

What Fans Can Expect

Audiences can expect an explosive blend of theatrics, classic hits, and new energy. Mötley Crüe, now featuring guitar virtuoso John 5 alongside original members Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil, is expected to deliver a high-octane set packed with the tracks that made them global icons.

W.A.S.P., long known for their controversial stage antics and politically charged lyrics, are set to unleash fan favorites like “Wild Child,” “L.O.V.E. Machine,” and “I Wanna Be Somebody,” along with a few deep cuts and surprises.

The production will match the music’s intensity—blazing lights, towering visuals, and enough pyrotechnics to rival a Fourth of July finale.

Tour Details

The tour kicks off in August 2025 in Los Angeles, with stops across North America before heading to Europe in October. Full tour dates and venues will be announced later this month, with fan club presales opening soon and general tickets available by early July.

This isn’t just a tour—it’s a celebration of the era, the music, and the legends who lived it. For fans who missed it the first time—or those who want to relive the glory—this is the ultimate return to rock’s loudest, proudest roots.
