Since the start of the season, Erik ten Hag’s defense has been severely thinned out, and along with Lisandro Martinez, I believe Shaw is among the biggest casualties.
The Manchester Evening News reports that on Sunday, when the Premier League season starts following the November international break, Shaw might finally be able to play against the Toffees.
Shaw’s return to the starting lineup will be sufficient to make United supporters happy. Since the season’s first match, which concluded with a 2-0 loss to Tottenham at the end of August, he has not participated in any games.
Shaw had to be substituted out of the game due to a muscle issue.
After missing the victory over Luton Town, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely to return to his preferred right-back position after recovering from an illness.
