Italian gothic metal icons Lacuna Coil have officially announced their highly anticipated 2025 world tour, titled Twilight After Dark. The tour marks the band’s return to international stages following a brief hiatus and the release of new music earlier this year. Known for their darkly melodic sound, theatrical visuals, and explosive live energy, Lacuna Coil is ready to once again deliver their signature brand of heavy, emotional, and atmospheric performances across the globe.
Kicking off this September in Milan, the band’s hometown, Twilight After Dark will take Lacuna Coil through major cities in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Stops include London, Berlin, Paris, New York City, São Paulo, Tokyo, and Sydney, with more dates expected to be added soon.
Lead vocalist Cristina Scabbia expressed excitement in a statement shared on social media: “We’ve missed the stage, we’ve missed the fans, and we’ve missed the connection. Twilight After Dark isn’t just a tour—it’s a celebration of who we are, what we’ve survived, and what we’re becoming.”
The tour will feature material from Lacuna Coil’s latest EP To the End and Back, released in early 2025, alongside fan-favorite anthems like “Heaven’s a Lie,” “Our Truth,” and “Trip the Darkness.” The band has hinted that the setlist will span their full discography, offering a night of nostalgia and transformation.
Guitarist Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati added, “We’ve pushed ourselves to create something immersive—this is going to be a different kind of show, visually and emotionally. It’s going to be dark, heavy, and personal.”
Lacuna Coil has long stood as one of the leading forces in modern gothic metal, combining heavy riffs, symphonic elements, and dual vocals from Scabbia and Andrea Ferro. Since their breakthrough in the early 2000s, the band has built a loyal global following, admired not only for their sound but also for their unwavering authenticity and evolution over time.
