Little Feat Announce North American Tour Following Release of New Studio Album

Legendary American rock band Little Feat has officially announced a brand-new North American tour in support of their recently released studio album, marking an exciting return to the road and the recording studio. This tour comes hot on the heels of their latest record, Long Distance Love, which dropped earlier this summer to critical acclaim and enthusiastic fan reception.

The upcoming tour — titled the “Long Distance Love Tour” — will kick off in late September 2025 and span over 30 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with stops in Nashville, Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, and the band’s hometown of New Orleans. It will be the band’s most extensive tour since the early 2010s, bringing together classic hits and new material for a celebratory and soulful concert experience.

Little Feat, known for their unique fusion of rock, blues, funk, and Southern boogie, have long been revered as one of the most influential live bands of the 1970s and beyond. With a legacy of iconic albums such as Waiting for Columbus, Dixie Chicken, and Time Loves a Hero, the group continues to carry the torch of eclectic Americana music with remarkable vitality.

Their new studio album, Long Distance Love, is their first collection of original material in over a decade. Featuring both longtime members and fresh collaborators, the album captures the band’s classic groove while exploring new lyrical and musical territory. Tracks like “Bayou Nights,” “All the Way Home,” and “Rolling Tide” blend soulful melodies with the band’s signature storytelling charm.

In a recent statement, founding keyboardist and vocalist Bill Payne said, “This album feels like coming full circle. We’ve poured our hearts into it, and now we can’t wait to bring these songs to life on stage. We’re grateful that fans old and new are still here for the ride.”

The tour is expected to highlight both new tracks and fan favorites, including “Willin’,” “Fat Man in the Bathtub,” and “Oh Atlanta.” Special guests will join select dates, and the band has hinted at a few surprise collaborations in key cities.

Tickets for the “Long Distance Love Tour” go on sale starting July 15, with pre-sale access available for fan club members and newsletter subscribers. VIP packages, including soundcheck access and exclusive merchandise, will also be offered.

As Little Feat return to the spotlight with renewed energy and a critically praised album, the tour is shaping up to be a must-see event for lovers of timeless American rock. Whether you’re a lifelong devotee or discovering their sound for the first time, the band invites you to come along for the journey — and feel the Feat.
