Swedish metal juggernaut Orbit Culture has officially announced their highly anticipated “Shadows of the North” World Tour, set to kick off on October 18 in their hometown of Stockholm. The announcement has ignited excitement across the global metal community, as the band prepares to bring their signature blend of punishing riffs, haunting atmosphere, and cinematic fury to fans worldwide.
The tour will span over 30 cities, with major stops in Berlin, London, Paris, Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, before concluding in Sydney in early 2026. It marks the band’s most ambitious tour to date, coming off the back of their critically acclaimed album Descent—a record that has earned Orbit Culture a permanent place in the modern metal canon.
Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Niklas Karlsson, along with Richard Hansson (lead guitar), Fredrik Lennartsson (bass), and Christopher Wallerstedt (drums), has built a reputation for ferocious live performances that blend technical precision with raw, emotional intensity.
In a statement on social media, Karlsson shared:
“The ‘Shadows of the North’ tour is our chance to meet the fans face-to-face and give them a night they’ll never forget. This is more than a tour—it’s a journey into the core of our sound and our story.”
The tour’s name, “Shadows of the North,” reflects both Orbit Culture’s Nordic roots and the darker, introspective themes woven throughout their music. Known for songs that confront inner demons, societal collapse, and survival in isolation, the band promises a setlist that digs deep across their discography—from “Vultures of North” and “From the Inside” to the explosive classics “Saw” and “The Shadowing.”
Fans can also expect an immersive live production, featuring cinematic visuals, stunning lighting, and moments of raw vulnerability that Orbit Culture is known for.
Support acts for select dates include fellow heavyweights Humanity’s Last Breath, Sleep Token, and Invent Animate, making each show a must-see event for fans of boundary-pushing heavy music.
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 2, with early access and VIP packages available—offering exclusive merchandise, signed items, and meet-and-greet opportunities.
Orbit Culture’s “Shadows of the North” World Tour isn’t just a victory lap—it’s a full-throttle reckoning from one of metal’s most vital and evolving voices. For those ready to face the storm, this tour is your invitation.
“This is where the shadows rise,” the band teases. “And we are bringing them with us.”
