This Sunday, the Raiders’ defense will face Justin Jefferson.

The Las Vegas Raiders will face the Minnesota Vikings and one of the league’s greatest wide receivers, Justin Jefferson, this Sunday.

Jefferson will return to NFL action this Sunday after being out with a hamstring ailment for seven weeks.

Jefferson has 52 targets, 36 receptions, 571 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in five games this season. Jefferson has an overall player grade of 89.9 and a receiving grade of 89.5, according to Pro Football Focus.

Jefferson is in his fourth season with the Vikings, and in his career, he has 360 receptions for 5,396 yards and 28 touchdowns.

The Raiders’ defense, particularly the secondary, will be put to the test when they face Jefferson.

Nate Hobbs, the defensive back, will most likely have a strong workload in stopping Jefferson this Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Hobbs has the best pro football focus grade of any Raiders secondary defensive player, with an overall PFF defensive grade of 69.1. His defensive grade is the 35th highest among all cornerbacks. Hobbs also has a pass-rushing score of 48.0 and a coverage grade of 66.6.

Hobbs has 59 total tackles, one interception, six passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one sack this season.

Linebacker Robert Spillane of the Raiders will also be tried in coverage.

Spillane has a PFF defensive grade of 79.3, including a coverage grade of 64.6. This season, he has an 86.7 run defense grade and an 84.2 pass rush grade.

The Vikings and Jefferson will be playing in Allegiant Stadium for the first time this Sunday.

Keep an eye out for the Raiders’ defense as it attempts to stop, or at least slow down, a very good offense and one of the league’s finest receivers.
