Rock and roll icon Tommy James and his band, The Shondells, have officially announced their 2025 tour, marking a triumphant return to stages across the U.S. The announcement has thrilled fans eager to hear classics like “Crimson and Clover” and “Mony Mony” performed live by one of the genre’s most enduring voices.
A Journey Through Time and Hits
The tour kicks off June 14 at the Goodyear Theater in Akron, Ohio, and spans several states throughout the summer and fall. Stops include Fort Wayne, IN (June 28), Myrtle Beach, SC (July 12), and notable venues in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, New York, Indiana, and Texas, with more dates expected to be added.
The setlist is expected to cover Tommy James’s vast catalog of hits that defined the 1960s and 70s rock scene, including “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “Draggin’ the Line,” “Hanky Panky,” “Sweet Cherry Wine,” and “Crystal Blue Persuasion.”

Fortunately, after a short recovery, the 77-year-old rocker received the green light from doctors and quickly got back to what he loves most—performing for his fans.
