The atmosphere at the stadium last Saturday was nothing short of electric, providing the perfect backdrop for a special group of young athletes to take center stage. We were absolutely delighted to welcome the Spalding United Under 10s, 
who stepped up to serve as our official matchday mascots. This talented group represented Spalding Youth with a level of pride and enthusiasm that was truly infectious, making the afternoon memorable for everyone in attendance.
Facing off against Harborough is always a significant occasion, but the presence of a bumper crowd added an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings. Despite the pressure of performing in front of such a large and passionate audience, the young lads handled the spotlight with remarkable ease. They didn’t just participate; they truly embodied the spirit of the club, showing everyone what it means to be part of the Spalding family.
From the very moment they arrived until the final whistle blew, the behavior of the Under 10s was exemplary. It is often said that the character of a club is reflected in its youngest members, and if that is the case, the future of our organization is in very safe hands.
