The Warning Hints at Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show Dreams After NFL’s Bay Area Announcement
San Francisco, CA – April 12, 2025 — With the NFL officially announcing that Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara in 2026, fans are already buzzing about potential headliners for the halftime show — and rising rock sensation The Warning just weighed in.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Mexico, the powerhouse trio of sisters from Monterrey — Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal — were asked if they’d be open to headlining the Super Bowl LVXI halftime show, one of the most-watched performances on the planet.
Their answer? A resounding yes — with rockstar confidence.
“Absolutely,” lead guitarist and vocalist Daniela “Dany” Villarreal replied. “It would be an honor and a dream. The Super Bowl halftime stage is iconic, and we’d love to bring our sound, our energy, and a bit of Mexico to that audience.”
Drummer Paulina “Pau” Villarreal, who also handles vocals for many of the band’s most fiery tracks, added: “We grew up watching those performances — Beyoncé, Shakira, Prince. To even be considered for something like that feels surreal, but we’re ready. We’d bring fire.”
Bassist Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal, the youngest of the trio, chimed in with a grin: “Can you imagine the riffs echoing through Levi’s Stadium? That would be insane.”
The Warning has been on a meteoric rise in recent years, blending classic hard rock influences with a fresh, modern edge that has earned them a devoted global fanbase. Their electrifying performances and fierce authenticity have gained the attention of music legends and industry execs alike, making them a serious contender for one of music’s biggest stages.
Now, with the Super Bowl returning to the Bay Area for the first time since 2016, speculation around the halftime show lineup is heating up — and The Warning’s name is gaining traction across social media.
The NFL confirmed earlier this week that Super Bowl LX will take place on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s® Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. With the Bay Area’s rich music culture and history of hosting unforgettable performances, expectations for the halftime show are sky-high.
While nothing is confirmed, The Warning’s enthusiastic response is music to the ears of rock fans craving a heavier, edgier sound on the NFL’s biggest stage.
