MONTERREY, MEXICO — Rock trailblazers The Warning have long shattered expectations on stage — now, they’re about to do the same in the classroom.

The powerhouse sister trio has announced the creation of “Voces del Fuego” (Voices of Fire)a groundbreaking, all-girls music academy in Monterrey designed to empower the next generation of female musicians. Set to open in October 2025, the school will offer completely free education for girls aged 13 to 19, focusing on performance, production, songwriting, and the often-hidden business side of the music industry.

“We didn’t just want to be part of change — we wanted to build it,” said lead guitarist and vocalist Dany Villarreal. “Voces del Fuego is for every girl who’s been told she’s too loud, too bold, or not enough. Here, her voice will be everything.”

The curriculum, crafted by the band alongside a team of women in music, will feature hands-on training in instruments, vocal technique, studio production, and live stage performance. Even more importantly, it will foster mentorship, community, and self-expression — something the band says they craved in their own early years.

Funded through tour profits, merch, and partnerships with music tech leaders like Fender, Shure, and Native Instruments, the school is being hailed as a landmark moment for Latin American music education.

Paulina Villarreal, the band’s dynamic drummer and vocalist, spoke candidly:
“We faced stereotypes, gatekeeping, and endless doubt. We want to remove those barriers for the girls coming up behind us — so they don’t waste a second second-guessing their place.”

The school’s flagship campus will feature state-of-the-art rehearsal studios, recording labs, and a performance space — all built around the idea that young women deserve not just access, but excellence.

Applications for the first 100 students open in June 2025, and The Warning has already hinted at plans to expand the program across Mexico and eventually, other Latin American countries.

Alejandra Villarreal, bassist and youngest member, summed it up powerfully:
“This is more than a music school — it’s a declaration. Girls don’t have to ask for space anymore. We’re giving them the tools to take it.”

With Voces del Fuego, The Warning isn’t just amplifying voices — they’re setting the stage for a global movement. And the world better listen.
