Gary Neville names Everton in his Sky Sports attack on Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Toffees tormented Chelsea at Goodison Park just weeks after losing to the Red Devils, which Neville dismissed based on the real performances.

Without their points deduction, Everton would be 10th in the Premier League right now, ahead of Chelsea and only four points behind Manchester United.

When asked about two prominent names on the Gary Neville Podcast after Tottenham’s win over Newcastle on Sunday, December 10, the commentator did not hold back.

“I can’t be conned by the Everton and Chelsea wins [for Manchester United],” he was quoted as saying.

“We were there at Everton, weren’t we, and they could have conceded two or three goals 20 minutes before halftime, and Chelsea the other night were abysmal.”

“I know we all avoided saying how bad Chelsea were because you didn’t want to take anything away from United, you can’t be seen criticizing them all the time, and there was a lot of energy in the game.”

“Chelsea were awful, Chelsea were woefully bad and they got beat up again today at Goodison Park, Chelsea and Manchester United right now are a bit of a laughing stock.”

Fighting.

Nobody knows what Everton is going through right now, but they’re coming out of it with incredible results, which deserves a lot of praise.

Sean Dyche has discovered a new level in his players, and Chelsea learned the hard way on Sunday, something Manchester United was fortunate to avoid.

On another day, we might be sitting much closer to Erik Ten Hag’s men, who saw their side depart Merseyside with a clean sheet.

Everton always rises up when it is needed, whether it is the fans, the players, or the management, and that is precisely what was required when everyone else appeared to be against them.

Long may this continue, since even with the points deduction, the Toffees might finish ahead of Chelsea, who were left whining about transfers once more.

Everton is now winning against the rest of the globe.

In other Everton news, Gareth Southgate cannot afford to dismiss Jarrad Branthwaite following his performance against Chelsea.
