Everton’s £52k-a-week ace has been warned he doesn’t have a ‘future’ under Sean Dyche.

Finally, it appears like peace has returned to the Everton dressing room, with Goodison Park hosting a group of players who are enjoying their football under the new boss.

For so long, the playing staff had been a disengaged bunch, reluctant to fight for their club in peril, resulting in two close calls over their top-flight existence.

Sean Dyche claimed that this season will be different after avoiding relegation by four and then two points.

Given that they are now four points ahead of 17th-placed Luton Town and have overcome a ten-point deduction, it is safe to assume he has already shown himself accurate.

Despite the tremendous improvement in form, which has led to the players oozing confidence, one individual continues to struggle.

Arnaut Danjuma was one of the summer’s standout signings, looking to rectify the wrongs of the January window, when he snubbed the Toffees at the last minute.

Well, journalist Paul Brown has now spoken out about the Dutchman, claiming that his future is questionable. ‘Danjuma is not doing enough for me to warrant the club taking him on a long-term basis,’ he told GIVEMESPORT.

‘I don’t think he has a future at Everton unless he pulls his finger out and starts contributing in a much, much bigger way. The team doesn’t have much money, so it will have to be very selective in its signings.

‘Danjuma doesn’t make a lot of sense for Everton at the moment. He has time to rectify it, but I believe they have kids like Dobbin who will put pressure on his position. Dobbin should improve significantly as he obtains experience and playing time. So I don’t think there’s a compelling reason to keep Danjuma around indefinitely.

‘I think he’s really up against it and probably knows it.’

This season, how has Arnaut Danjuma performed for Everton?

After being limited to cameo appearances this season, it must be another difficult return to England for the Dutchman, who was also relegated to Tottenham Hotspur’s bench last season.

The 26-year-old has made just two Premier League starts, and despite scoring against Sheffield United, it appears that others have risen to obstruct his path to the first-team.

With Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison both returning to form and fitness, the wide positions have been secured, while the explosive form of Abdoulaye Doucoure is proving too much for the on-loan Villarreal man to deploy in his shadow striker role.

This season, the Mali international has six goals and shows no signs of slowing down.

Meanwhile, Danjuma has only two strikes in all competitions, unable to capitalize on the few opportunities that come his way.

The £52k-per-week magician was an exciting summer acquisition, but few anticipated him to fall into the background so quickly.

Barring a spectacular recovery in the second half of the season, the attacker is likely to return to Spain having failed to make an impression.
